Cleared the staples from Brinks 8-page shredder, but still slow?
I made the mistake of dropping an extra couple pages into my 8-page shredder by Brinks, and it locked up! I subsequently cleared the shredder, but still had problems. I later took the head apart and found a couple of staples in the blades, so I cleared them out & looked for more blockages in the blades & gears. I found no other blockages, so I reassembled the shredder and tried it out. It's still running slowly & not shredding anywhere near as well as before. Any ideas? Do the blades need to fit together on the same side all the way across the line?
