i am sick and tired of this... aswell as the crackling line... my phone ring every 30mins day and night, with nobody there... and its not even registering a call on 1471 or caller id... im just so fed up of it

You may be getting so called 'silent' calls from a dialler. If you are in the UK Register with the TPS.

Crackling lines are nearly always caused by the Local Loop and should be reported to you phone company.

You have a loose or crossed wire on the fixed wiring from your master to your house extension sockets. Check all outlets are correctly connected and secure using a proper punch down telephone tool. (also called an insulation displacment tool or IDT) Good luck
