Baxi combi 105e- Low Pressure?

I have just had an extra radiator fitted, after this the pressure has dropped to 0.5 (rises to 1 when hot tap is run) How do I go about re-pressurizing the system?

We have no pressure on our boiler, i have a silver hose connected to 2 pipes under the boiler but no tap or valve? Is there anything i can do?

there is a braided fleible silver hose under my boiler, there is a valve on the right which moves freely ( should this be left in the north-south or east-west position. But the valve o the left isnt mving at all. Are these the 2 vales I need to open to repressureise?

mine does not have a handle just a connection between silver hose to pipe that looks like a special screwdriver or such fits? -o- this is the shape? Tried turning with normaal screwdriver and using star shaped aswell but will not budge. Any ideas?

Wow, there was me trying to bleed the radiators upstairs and no air or water coming out, thought it might have been the pump as low pressure, yes I found the screw opened it up, fantastic now have over 1 bar pressure.
Thanks for the info.

How did we manage without the internet? Thanks ppan

Joel, February 2010
Excellent advice....saved a large call out fee simply by turning a handle! Thanks!

That worked for me too, but just to clarify, you have to turn both the valves connected to the silver tubing or nothing will happen.

just wanted to thank ppan as it worked for me just fixed my bioler the upstairs is now warm :-)

look under the boiler, you`ll see a silver hose with a little handle on it, may be blue or black, with the boiler cold and off, turn this little handle ( you should hear the water starting to flow ) and the guage should start to rise, set it to 1bar or one the number one on the dial. silver house should be connected between the 15mm pipe (seconed from the right) to the 22mm pipe (first on the right)
