Hi, What you will find thats worn out is, one of the copper contacts has worn down, and not making contact with brass plate, u will have 2 grind of rivetts that holds the silver cover with wires on, look on back of cover and check contacts, u will find 1 end of the contact has worn away, just bend the broken end up 2 same height as other contact, so as they both touch plate on nylon cog,drill out old fixings and use small nuts and bolts. Ive just done my wipers 2. good luck.
