How can I fix my craftman chain saw mod. 358.351160 . 20 inch blade?

How do I replace fuel lines to the fuel tank? There are two lines. One line is connected to the carburetor and to the tank with a filter on the inside of the tank. The other line is just bellow the first, entering the tank and I don't know if there is a filter connected to it on the inside. The other end of this line disappears behind the tank and I don't know how to remove the tank to see where it goes. What is it connected to ? Is this just a breather. How is the tank removed ?

Thanks Phil, The pressure line has broke off and I don't know where it connects to the block. It disappears behind the fuel tank. How does the fuel tank come off.? Are there screws on the other side of the engine holding it on ? I need to know how to get to that connection in order to replace the line.

The second line is a pressure line. It will have a check valve in it somewhere and it's purpose is to use crankcase pressure to keep the fuel tank slightly pressurised, in order to keep fuel delivery constant whatever angle the machine is being operated at. For this reason, the fuel cap must be airtight. If it wasn't before you started this exercise, put it all back cos there's nothing wrong with it - get a new gas cap!
