My Hoover 1300 washing machine door surround is broken the inner door has moulding to hold the glass in place but these have broken so I have to perch the glass in the door and although the machine still works fine it doesn't seem very safe. I would like to fit a new inner and outer door anyone know how the hinge comes apart?

The outer door trim usually clips off the inner trim, this gives access to the hinge screws, some models require you to remove the screws then split the trim. The hinge remains on the machine and plastic "bushes" are used to secure the door and hinge. take care when fitting the glass to the new inner trim as the small plastic pegs that hold the glass can be broken easily, usually a little washing up liquid eases fitting
