firstly ENSURE WASHER IS UNPLUGED! then to access interlock remove the door seal from the outer skin of machine, (when you open the door its the bit that holds onto the outer rim of the hole you put washing into) its usually retained with a spring or steel wire with a spring, then you can easily reach in to remove the lock and replace it. refitting is the reverse of removing door seal. Do NOT take the doorseal completely off the machine, leave it attached to the drum, just unclip the outer part
