how can i fix this problem?

when i boot my toshiba laptop which is operating in windows XP and after the desktop icons have appeared,my document open without me opening it when i close it and open a program,after a few minutes it reopens .i have tried three different anti-virus (escan,AVG,AVAST) but still the problem as continued,i even scaned in safe mode

Sounds like you've got word to run at startup if im honest mate. If you right click on the Start Button and use Explore, find your startup folder and remove anything word processor related.

Alternatively you may have it set within the registry to boot up when you login. You can disable certain startup items using MSCONFIG, however if you are not proficient with computers and the registry then dont start mucking about with this.
