The sparkplug lead on my mower is rusty. how do I go about changing it?

Do you live close to a get this a Wal-mart store? in the automotive department they make a spray that will clean the rust off most anything. I know this because I had a problem with my mower and the machanic there showed me the spray. If in dought ask one of them they'll know what I am talking about. Good luck!
