There is a significant amount of rain water that appears from under the carpeting just in front of and behind the driver's seat. This happens when it rains, and even if the car is stationary, so the source must be rain, and not driven ground water. the door seals are fine, and i have sat in the car in the rain, and no water drips onto the carpet - it seems to 'rise' out of the carpet. Help!!

check the rubber seal around the sunroof,water gets through this and then runs down the door posts and onto the footwell.

do u have a sunroof? if u do then chances are its the run off pipe on that is blocked. common fault

I get exactly the same on my 2001 vtr, its driving me mad, I thought it was the doors but cant see where...hope someone knows!
