How can I fix my Ford KA brake lights?

Have a 2000 model Ford KA and the brake lights keep blowing the fuse. Change the fuse but it just keeps fusing, seems to be impacted with the reverse light bulb in place, when I remove the reverse light bulb the back windscreen top brake light works but none of the side light brakes work because they continually fuse, ANY IDEAS!!!!!

check rear bulbs for correct type (single/double contact/wattage )your handbook will give correct types,if all are ok disconnect each rear lamp at multi connector and see if fault disappears if it does then i suspect bulb holder assy shorting out somewhere on the one where fault clears.if it still blows when both disconnected fault could be on wiring loom.
