My Hoover has no suction?

i have a wind tunnel that has no suction. All the lines are clear, the beater bar spins normally and the bag is new. I feel no suction from the hose coming from the bottom. I hear the motor and all as normal.

Pull the new bag out and make sure the tube that feeds it isn't clogged with dust or hair... this happens with my Hoover all the time
