Vokera Mynute 14e Boiler losing pressure?

Automatic Air release Valve is venting water as per Ian Clutterbuck's question of Feb 2007 pressure drops and system trips. It may be the expansion vessel or the valve itself. Can anyone shed any light on this? Does anyone know if it is safe to screw the cap down on the AAV and operate with it screwed in this position?

Thanks - how do I go about finding float? (I will check manual meantime) Also will check for instructions on how to refill expansion vessel. I think there is something on this. Meantime I had already tried shutting the valve but there is still a small leak forming under the flow valve. Any further ideas/clues? With the AAV shut there is no leak from there any more but i am still uneasy about leaving it like this. The pressure had dropped by about a 10th of a bar over the course of 24 hours. Thanks meantime.

try repressurisng expansion vessel, replace auto air vent (see if float is dirty - system may require flushing) 'tripping' due to low system pressure, vent should not be closed fully.
