accelerator cable on a '98 Renault Laguna?

how easy is it to replace accelerator cable on a '98 Renault Laguna, 2 litre injection. Just snapped today and I had to drive home using string attached to the wire through the window. Interesting journey !

Its not hard at all, just as you remove the old one install the new one each step as you go. That way you follow the same path as the old one and you connect the new one just like the old one.Just check how it hooks to the pedal, unhook the old one run the new one thru the firewall hook it to the pedal the same. Then just follow the old with the new.
