Thermostat needs replacing for electrolux EOB5630X?

my oven cuts out and the light goes out after its been running for approximately twenty minutes. I have been told it is a faulty thermostat cut out switch. Can anyone tell me where to find this on the oven and replace it. It's an electrolux EOB5630X.

You can order it on ebay for 12£ currently (I don't get a commission, I am a victim of this myself...)

Neil,

Thanks for your post.

I believe the correct link is .co.uk now rather than .com

pull the oven out .unscrew the top front plate on the oven top and the cut out will be found cable tied to the wiring loom ..4 wires going in blue or white,,

Most likely the thermal cut out unit. Had the same problem with mine. See this forum for advice and part;

Although if in doubt, call an engineer!

I have the same problem and will be very grateful if Mathieu (or anybody out there who knows about these things) could advise where to find such a part. Many thanks..

I think Mathieu is right Re:the oven cut out...my oven has just done exactly the same thing, the blue bullet has also burnt out!

Mathieu do you know where I can buy a replacement as i don't seem to be having much luck tracking one down.

Thanks

the master cut out i beleive is on the top of the oven screwed next to the top fan, however i think that this cutting out is covering another fault and is not the problem and is only protecting the oven from literally catching fire. if you look in around about the came place on top you will see a wiring loom with a connection that looks like a blue bullet. On an oven i worked on this was charred on inspection it had 4 wires one to the top fan one to the centre lcd display and 2 two to the left hand oven selector. I think that the blue wire had burnt off and was not letting the top fan circulate hot air thus setting the over temperature switch off just like the one you would have ontop of a combi boiler hope this is of help to you, however if you are unsure please call in an appliance engineer or a qualified electrician....
