Rover 400 braking system Saloon?

Ihave changed the brake caliper on the rear and now I have no brake pedal at all, has anyone else had this problem?

i used a standerd pressure bleed kit ...but had to drill a hole to fit the kit into the master cylinder cap ...then i bought a new one out the scrappy to replace the modified one ...honestly is easyier with the mod ....anyway ,,,try checking cylinders and pistons for leaks ,,,, if none i agree with above ,,,bleed it ,,,....

Yep you have air in the system and it needs to be bled. If you haven't the proper gear, get a friend to sit in the drivers seat. Open caliper bleed nipple, friend presses pedal down and holds it there. Close bleed nipple, friend allows pedal to come to the top. Open bleed nipple, friend presses pedal down and holds, you close the nipple and so on. Keep an eye on the master cylinder fluid level though, you don't want air getting in from there. Good luck!
