Where can I get a Hotpoint CDT40 service manual?

Where can I get a Hotpoint CDT40 service manual? I've had this dryer for only 14 months. I called Hotpoint, and of course they want 90 quid to look at it. Meanwhile it costs 220 quid to buy a new one, not that I think I'll buy another Hotpoint. It seems to have a problem either with the heating element or the thermostat and would like to troubleshoot and replace the parts myself if possible.

hi im not sure where th best place for a service manual is bt the thermostat and element are easy to get to if you remove the cover on the back of the machine you should see the element inside the cover all you will need to do is take the wires off the 2 small thermostats and test for continuity across each one if none then its dead and to test the element test for continuity across the rings be sure to turn off and unplug before starting if you need any help or parts i ma be able to help further bladesy2005@btinternet.com
