if its 2 slack then there is a tensioner u can adjust ull need 2 spanners 1 on 1 side 1 on the other slacken the bolts then pull or push the alternator untill its tighter then tighten the bolts up and thats u sorted // 2 put belt back on u put the belt on the alternator pulley 1st then feed it round the bottom pulley when u get a start on it u then put a tie wrap round the belt n pulley this keeps it on while u turn the drum from inside the machine this should turn and slip the belt on aswell when its on the u can cut the tie wrap off and bobes ur uncle
