hi where are the belt drives in the engine{zafira}? my battery light is on and the steering locks when i try to drive it. someone said that the belts have gone in the engine but i dont know where they are. can anyone help?
It indeed sounds like your Zafira has lost its alternator belt - open the bonnet, look down on the left side of the engine and you'll see either a very slack belt or some bare pulleys.
