How can I repair my Creda Tumble Dryer?

my creda tumble dryer model T620 CW runs for a few minutes then cuts out. It heats and changes direction whilst running . when it stops if you turn the socket off and switch it on again the machine will not come on unless it is left off for along time.

can you please help

Thank you

I agree with the previous answer. But a problem I had was that the seal between the drum and the front panel had worn, which meant that air was being drawn through that gap rather than through the heating element, leading to the element overheating. Again, the element thermal cutout would operate.
So could be fluff, or could be an air leak somewhere.

The problem with this one is that the back of the drum will be packed with fluff, and this is causing the over heat sensor to cut in early. The only real cure is to open the thing up for a clean - chances are you'll be amazed how much fluff is in there!
