If the door doesn't lock when you've tried all the above, then it's a fair bet the programmer has packed up, as it's this that locks the door. It costs around £70/80 and it's quite easy to replace.

the door seal is easy to fix, open the door at the top you will see a plactick box pull it off the frunt and a spring clip will come off the outer seal, push the top of the seal down and inside you will see a big clip with one cross scroow on it undo this and the old seal will come away fit the new one in by putting on the inner clip first but there are two small holes at the frunt of the seal that should be at the bottom of the door they are drain holes get them in the right place first, as for the door not locking look for gunk behind the little hook on the back of the door lock and flick this hook to see if its stuck or the spring is busted if it is then your machine wont start,
