aqualisa aquastream thermo 2003?

hi folks,
you all seem very knowledgable on these things. i've had this shower for about 4 years had a new pump fitted just over 3 years ago it's been a dream since then but just recently the motor in the shower wont turn off, when i turn the knob off the whirring sound of the motor carries on going until i switch it off by the switch in the airing cupboard where the transformer is.
Any help will be greatly appreciated i miss my shower loads!!

The motor keeps running when the shower is off

Sorry - unable to answer your question also, just wanted to add that i have the exact same problem, (luckily my switch is in the airing cupboard).

To be honest this is how we turn the shower on and off, by using the switch from the airing cupboard.

Problem sorted - called Aqualisa, they sent a replacement loom assembly then engineer called few days later to fit. One of the microswitches on the old assembly was knackered. It took around 15 mins to fit and the replacment part gurateed for 3 years.

Sorry - unable to answer your question, just wanted to add that i have a similar problem.
I have an aqualisa aquastream, it is about 9 years old and no problems until recently. Firstly it just stopped working (water coming through but no pump). I got in the loft to check power to transformer ok - it was. A short time later I tried the shower and it was ok again. A week later and the pump has started coming on (no water coming through as not switched on), it will run for a few minutes, stop, then start again five mins later. I have had to go back in the loft and switch off the power to the transformer. (Yes, it would have been much easier to have the power switvh in the airing cupboard!).
