57 plate picasso with exceedingly cold (draughty ) footwell?

I have a 57 plate Xsara Picasso 1.7 vtx which has an incredibly cold footwell even in milder weather. It has been examined by citroen for the door strip leaking and that the heater/pollen flaps are closing but no fault found.

Citroen tell me the amount of warmth I expect is subjective but having to wear thick socks to be comfortable in my view is unreasonable. Anyone else with this problem?

Hi,
You are not alone. I have a 57 plate 1.6 Diesel picasso with exactly the same problem. Dealer does not want to know. I have tried all settings to try and deflect some heat into the footwell area but with no success. It is not just that the area is cold but there is a definite draft, but it is impossible to locate whilst driving. There are enough picassos on the road, someone out there must have a solution

Hi
I have a 56 plate and have exactly the same problem. It seems to be a design fault, as if you get on your knees and feel around the vent, there is plenty of hot air coming out but because of the design of the outlet, it blows straight up behind the dash.I have been thinking about making a deflector to redirect the air into the footwell but have not got around to it yet. I too complained to my dealer and was met with baffled looks and was assured that "no one else has complained". So its, " hail fellow, well met". Sorry I coukdnt help further
