Poulan engine rebuilding spec ?

I have a Poulan chainsaw that will not start. I believe the piston is damaged and I need to replace the cyclinder, piston and ring. Parts are avaiable but I need how to information such as; how tight do I need to torque the bolts, how to replace the seals, how do I fit the ring? If this was a Ford v8 the spec would be avaiable. I would like to have engine rebuilt specs for this engine. Where can I find this information?

Poulan: Good luck if it turns over fairly easy when you chock it or put mixed gas down the spark plug then that's not really your problem. Your parts will cost maybe $75 or more or less and a second had pond shop one maybe $50. 2 cycle engines are good for not starting. One tank they work perfect the nest tank it will not even fire again. Junk plastic stuff.
