my washing machine is still full of water after a spin and i think the filter may be blocked but cannot find it.

if your machine has not got a removeable 3" strip on the front bottom Filter located in the big black pipe coming from the base of the outer drum manually drain water out into a bowl the more you get out the less mess later when you remove the big spring clip (use pipe grips) i would also clean out the pump housing and check impeller turns freely they seize in there housing (hence new pump required)if you cannot free
