Can I fix my snow globe?

I have an older snow globe with dirty (cloudy) water and it appears that one of the figures is cracked. It has a wooden base with three screws in the bottom. If also plays music by winding the screw on the bottom of the base. Can I replace the water myself? If so, how? If not is there someone in Regina Saskatchewan that you know of that could repair it for me?
Thank you I appreciate your help, it is so precious to me, as it is over 50 years old.

I have a Holliday Collection water globe. Thw music box plays OK and the little motor turns, but it does not make the snow move???
What principle does it work on?

It does not appear to be damaged.

Any info. would be great. Have a great weekend.

It would be easier and cheaper to get another snowglobe like it, if you can find another. You can find a lot of older snowglobes on Ebay (tons) so check on there and you can find some steals that is much cheaper then having one fixed.

Hi Lauren : My name is James Purcell and I fix Snow Globes for a living . The amount of work that it takes to take your globe apart
and that does not mean those two or three small screws ( prob ! just two .) They just hold the music box in place . Their are no visual
areas to gain entry to the inner parts of the globe . That is because the rest is bonded with epoxy , Heat resin , contact cement ,These globes are not meant to come apart . Because they are so cheap to
produce " they are considered a throw away !! They did not expect people to attach emotions to them or memories of loved ones . When we realized that the value in the Snow Globes were emotions , we realized that we could work on them for hours and
hours and like most crafts never get paid the value of our time but we could get paid for our hobby time .
My name is James Purcell and I repair Snow Globes . My friends say that I am the best !! Well I do great work ....... . I can fix yours for you, and bring back the beaming memories !
