How can I fix my Beko condensor tumple dryer model DRCS 68W?

This dryer is only just over 12 months old but stopped working due I think to me not cleaning out the condensor. The problem is it is not heating up at all, all else okay. Lots of fluff removed from the condensor and problem continues, the heating element appears okay - no sign of burning.

I have a beko, a sock went down the filter, had to remove top and rear panels, and drum, after removing the sock i replaced all panels but did not work, found that the filter with the metal fins was the problem in as much as one of the locking paddles should be red, if this is not closed properly then it will not work, a simple safety point,
hope this works for you.

1 of the stats on heater could be open circuit.if so you need to replace whole element as stats not available from manufacturer
