How can I alter the water volume intake of the Bosch wff 1401?

I am having problems with the washing ability of the Bosch WFF 1401. It has never been very good and I have decided that the Bosch people have simply economised too much on the water consumption. Frankly I would get more liquid if I spit on the clothes rather than put them into the machine. I need to know how to adjust the volume of water entering the system - anyone got any information - I would be grateful. Many Thanks.

I have the same problem. I share the view that Bosch engineers have overdone this in trying to get the best economy ratings. Agree with Michael that this could be adjusted through the sensing, but the machine is not designed for the knock on effects. My next washer will be a Miele - they seem to be sensible about this problem, and there is an option on many of the machines to use more water. Problem is that the Bosch will probably carry on for ever (why I bought it in the first place).

Let's hope the Bosch boys are reading this.

not a good idear to mess with this, its all down to the water censer inside the machine, its got lots of settings on it and if try put to much water in the drum it will get into the bearings and thats going to cost you a bome to get fixed, and yes there realy tight with there water, but is it washing your gear ok??? coz if it is leave it alown!!
