Fitting a drive belt for Philips D163 Tumble Dryer?

I have obtained a new drive belt for the Philips D163 tumble dryer.
I am having difficulty in understanding how it fits in relation to the drive motor and the "take-up" spindle
Is there anyone who can help

What size is the belt please

Hi,
Does your belt tensioner have a separate spring or is the spring action in the tensioner itself?

Hello JP
Thanks for your answer .. I will try that
If this is the case does the idler pulley "push" the belt "in" rather than "out".
It has a spring which I have been attaching to the case which pushes it out

Hello,

I think with your particular model, the ribbed side of the belt goes over the motor and the smooth side goes under the idler pulley.
