The oil level is absolutely critical on these - even if its just a tiny bit too high the oil gets thrown out. If your engine is very old though, excess wear between the piston and cylinder could be causing too much pressure inside the engine.

When ever this occurs you have comppression from the cylinder bypassing the rings and going into the crankcase ..make sure air filter ect are clean .......make sure oil is not overfilled
