Casio TS-1200 Thermometer 24 hour format?

I just had my watch battery replaced and I usually run it on the 24 hour format but I can not remember how to get it to change form the 12 hour format to the 24 hour format. I have tried all kinds of different combo-nations and so did the watch repair guy and neither one of us could get it. Please help me with this if you know how to change it.
PS: I Have had this thing for so long that I don't have the manual anymore.

John hit the nail right on the head...Perfect...24 hr display will now show 1 thru 12, with an A for AM, and a P for PM.

Now for another issue with the same TS-1200, my calendar (display to the right of the Day of the Month) will not allow any adjustment beyond '71' it shows the month 1 thru 12, but the year range is '41' thru '71'. Any suggestions on setting the appropriate year would be appreciated.

Follow this exactly. With the cover still off, after you change the battery and it is in place, you must take a tweezers and touch the plus side of the battery and a spot marked "AC", all clear, on the housing. This will reset the memories on the watch. Your temperature should come on. It might take a couple of tries. Give the watch a few minutes to regulate the temperature.
