I have a dryer and when you push the start button it makes a buzzing sound but does not come on. I spoke with an electrician that told me if I hold the start button in and turn the drum and it starts it is the starting capacitor. I tried that and it started. Now my question is where is the starting capacitor?
Hi the heating element on the unit is no longer working...is it an easy thing to fix or replace?

could also be a relay but usually they are situated near the motor I dont know the kenmore but some even had the device built into the motor that as it stated to spin operated the change over switch
