scrating noise?!?

we have a proline tumble dryer that i have just brouhgt off of ebay and it makes a scrating noise BUT every time you lean it forward it is fine can you help thanks

easy answer, its the drum thats catching the casing inside, take the lid off and youll see scrpaing signs, we had this problem with hotpoint creda and indesit driers as im an ex engineer and the cure was to place some foam pads where it scrapes or in worse cases the drum had to come out and have new bearings fitted, best seek advice from an engineer. if its ok leaned forward then its because the drum is clear from the back panel and dosent scrape which is ok to use in that instance, if unsure seek advice
