I have a nissan micra that uses an intelligent key?

The problem is my battery has gone flat and I can't get in... any ideas how to get into it???????

Hi Lorraine. Instructions on how to enter the car manually are in the owners handbook. If you don't have this then here is the answer: On the left hand side front door there is a plastic cover that surrounds the keyless entry black button. Gently prise this off with a screwdriver wrapped in some rag to protect your paintwork. Behind this cover is a keyhole. The key blade which unfolds from your remote fob will fit this lock and allow you to unlock the door. The same key will also allow you to start the car if you remove the cover from the ignition switch. You still have no access to the boot or the right hand side door from the outside though, so this is only a temporary measure to get you home in an emergency. The best long term solution is obviously replacing the battery asap. John

I think my intelligent key needs a new battery. How do I replace the battery?
