How can I fix my Tumble Dryer - Lavatherm 57700?

The problem is that it has stopped drying! The washing load is as damp after an extra Dry Cycle as when I first put it in!
Could it be the Heating mechanism itself (The container Condensiator?) or is it due to a sensor ?? ) Have 2 little children and a mountain of washing to get dry!!

Thank you!

If drum is turning but not heating, probably the fault is one (or both) thermal links mounted under the heater cover. Remove the back cover plate which should reveal the heater array, held in by 4(?) screws. This can be unplugged, unscrewed and removed. The thermal links are mounted at one side. test with a multimeter. If failed, try to replce by visiting independent electrical appliance retailer / repairer. Otherwise, buy new element at much bigger cost!

I have just had the same problem. The motor is going but the clothes are still damp. Mine was the belt that turns the drum had snapped. I have just order a new part @ £25 but it does not look like an easy job. I will let you know
