once my engine is warm, the car starts to jump around, feels like its holding back, revs become eratic or stick and engine management light comes on, usually happens when acceleration reaches point of gear change up, or when you slow down and try to accelerate again. somebody mentioned the throttle sensor?? If anybody has had this problem and cured it pleeeeeeeease help me, its christmas....

There are a few areas which could be a problem here - the throttle position sensor or air mass meter for example. If you can find a suitable garage that has diagnostic equipment it could be the cheapest way. As the management lamp has come on it means that a fault code is stored in the cars computer and diagnostics man could interrogate this and at least point you in the right direction. Don't replace parts at ramdom - you'll only waste dosh.
