right first make sure you have all the tools that you need i had an engine support bar it go over the 2 front wings chain the engine to it make sure you have raised the car high enough use axle stands remove the wheels remove pasenger suspention leg including the brake calipers remove drive shafts unblot from the subframe the 2 pies that feed the power stering rad use some cable ties and secure the radeator use cable ties to support the air con dehydator disconect the (important disconect stearing wheel 10 ml bolt next to clutch pedel failure to do this may trigger air bag light on reasemmbly ) undo the engine suport on subframe back and front undo subframe 4 bolts lower to floor undo engine gbox bolts including starter leave starter wireing in place just move out of way remove gbox mount gbox should just come straight off have a mate to help with the weight remove through the pasenger wheel arch
when reassebling be carfull if you lower the back of the engine to create an easyer angle to engage gbox that you dont break the vac servo pipe like i did £26 from ford and easy avoidable
make sure that you change the csc (new name for thrust bearing mine leaked and led to the demise of my clutch ) took me 6 days on my own good luck
