How can I fix my CF SanDisk 256 MB?

This card is REFURB and I think has several partitions o some
sectors errors. My Winme read it sometimes and others not.
No problems with FORMAT or SCANDISK and charging files OK
but after is posible to have the info "No format".

What is the file system it is formattedwith? Check it is FAT16

Some cards will only format properly in the camera, have you tried that?
