ALERNATER ON A ROVER 218?

HI I WANT TO CHANGE A ALETRNATOR BELT I WAS WONDERIN IF U COULD GIVE ME SOME ADVICE ON IT PLEASE.

To replace the alternator belt you will have to remove the tension from it....this is done either by hinging the alternator on its bracket OR by moving a tensioner pulley. Either way there will be a bracket with an elongated slot in it somewhere along the way.
