this happened to mine and the water container wasn't quite fully pushed in. It had loads of wet soggy fluff behind it where i hadnt cleaned out the removable metal thing properly. Try giving the metal thing (dont know proper name...) a good rinse in the shower and wipe out behind where it slots in. Worked for me hope it works for you; As always make sure all dry before plugging in!
