hold down the blue 'fn' key (this operates all of the keys in blue! in the bottom left) then press F1 (top left with a little blue antenna) and your wireless card is now on.
FOR POWER USERS ONLY
if you feel comfabale entering the BIOS then press F2 when your laptop turns on and go to power management and there is a option in there to keep it always on
