How do i fix corrupt my MICRO SD card?

I tried to access my MICRO SD card and it didnt come up on my phone, there were symbols and it showed that all my information had been swiped from the card however when i checked the memory status of the card it said there was still information on there. Its a sandisk 1GB transflash compatible microSD.
