How can I fix my Ford Mondeo door locking problem?

V reg 1.8 5dr model. Central locking via remote key no longer operates; the locks engage briefly (a second) and then all unlock again. Prior to this problem; when I tried unlocking with the remote key all doors opened except the drivers door. Have changed the battery in the key but problem persists. Am still able to un/lock using the key in the lock.

I admit to greasing the locks today! After doing so I noticed that the central locking via remote key no longer operated properly with them locking and unlocking. I have noticed that where the doors latch onto the door frames there are rubber switches which if pressed make a 'peeping' sound.

You have the same fault as me by the sounds of it. Mine is the passenger's door that has problems. If you try to lock it by the button and one of the doors does not lock (driver's door in your case) then all of the locks will unlock again almost instantly. With mine I have tried all sorts of things but in the end I have just pulled the plug on the central locking unit in the passenger's door and lock that one manually. I am unsure as to whether the fault is in the control unit or the lock motor but the car is not worth spending much money on.
