I wonder if you can help solve this problem. I have a 5 series 02 bmw but the steering lock does not engage.
The dealers I bought it at say it is a awful job to do and are willing to change it, but apparently the have to chisel the old bolts off. I am not to happy about this as I have only had the car 2 months.
Please do you know of an easier solution

All steering locks have snap-head bolts or similar to stop theives from simply undoing them and therefore those bolts HAVE to be chiselled off.
