machine is asking for water after not getting it it times out and displays the F10 code these codes can be found on the net type in hotpoint fault codes and look. to check your water turn off the supply to machine remove 2 inlet pipes H/C(you may only have a cold fill) place end(s ) in a bowl turn on the tap(s)does water flow or dribble out.if dribbles read next bit
Q Have you got those nasty quick fit washing connectors where they clamp around your cold water pipe these only supply water through a very small hole easily rusts up preventing water flowing suggest changing to tee valves a lot greater flow
