Hi John
When your computers first turns on, you have an option to enter your bios setup, usually [DEL] or [F2]
or [F12] , it will be written on screen somewhere.
Go into the Bios setup and look for an option to change the boot priority, this may be labelled differently depnding on your computer,
Your Boot order should be CD-ROM (1st) and Hard Drive (2), Uou may have several option to order your boot sequance, but once these two are set. Save & Exit The Bios. Once this has been changed, as long as the CD-ROM/DVD you placed into the drive before the computer starts up it should work.

P.S Check for onscreen messages when it boots from the cd-rom, sometimes you have to press the enter key, to continue to boot...

Hope this Helps...

Tristan
