I have no reverse lights, dads checked the bulbs etc... so he thinks it may be the switch
We need to know where the reverse switch is, theres that much plastic and wires we cant see the gearbox from under the bonnet.
He doesnt want to spend all day taking the battery and all the other bits out to find that the switch is on something else.
can anyone help?

just like to say thank you to bob, obviously he had a look under the car first but still couldnt see very much, he did retire as a mechanic many years ago but still saves me money if he can fix it!!

the reverse light switch is on the side of the gearbox.it will have a plug with 2 wires going to it.u might be better off finding it from underneith the car rather that taking all that sh*te off at the top.the easy way to test it is pull the plug off it & cross the wires with a bit of wire or split pin,turn ignition on if the lights come on thats ya problem.
