trojan horse small.2.bf?

I have this virus on one of my computer (trojan horse small.2.bf).It was detected by my antivirus program logged in sys32wsock3.dll, and supposed to have been fixed, but shortly after I lost my network and internet connections.no matter what I do to reconnect,it just refuses access saying my server is undetectable.I cannot refresh my IP address to correct the problem, saying an error occured trying to refresh the IP.
I cannot get on internet to get some virus removal programs that might fix the problem.
My PC is a atandard 64 bit processor with ASUS mpb, operating on Windows XP sp2,explorer 6.

Have you any suggestion how to fix such a problem??

Sometimes when removing a virus or a trojan, parts of the windows registry that deal with the TCP/IP protocol become corrupted and need to be reset to a clean state.

This can easily be done using a built-in networking utility called "netsh". This utility program is used on the "command line" (ie in a DOS window) with a number of "switches".

If you exactly follow these directions, you should be able to fix your problem:

1. Click on "Start" then click on "Run"
2. Type "cmd" without the " " into the box and click on "OK"
3. After a DOS window appears, type the following at the command line prompt (flashing underscore cursor):

netsh int ip reset c:resetlog.txt and press the "Enter" key

When the cursor reappears, close the DOS window. Check that your local area network is enabled and start your Internet browser. Type in a URL such as http://www.google.com and click on "go" or press the enter key. Your Internet connection should now be working.
