How can I get my Fisher Paykel off F1. It did this on Christmas Morning?

My fisher and paykel has F1 displayed and it doesn't matter what I try I can't get it to operate.

THANKS. MINE WAS THE SAME. A LOOSE SCREW ON
ONE OF THE TRAY RACK WHEELS.

Yes, I did the same. The leak problem was a loose screw securing one of the wheels that support the upper wire rack. This slow leak gradually filled the bottom tray activating the flood switch. Check the screws are tight and secure. A quick way to get it going is to tip the washer in any direction to drain out the water in to some prearranged towels for the ensuing flood! It's a good idea to pull out the power plug while doing this. Then attend to the problem when it's more convenient.

You need to take the lower cover off and dry the bottom tray out thoroughly. F1 is the flood switch and there is water in the tray that must be dried out. If the problem reoccurs, look for a leak.
