my washing machine gives me an e 30 error code?

i have a hotpoint washing machine which does not start up it gives me an error code e 30 .what is this problem

The internet says that the hotpoint fault E 30 is a problem in the motor. You need to check/change the brushes or the tacho magnet
(tacho magnet located at the bottom of the motor held with a single screw)
